We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team, focusing on API automation within existing frameworks. Your role

  • Develop and maintain API automation scripts using tools like Rest Assured, Karate, and Cucumber
  • Work primarily in Java (Python and C# also welcome)
  • Enhance and extend existing automation frameworks-no need to build from scratch
  • Collaborate within Scrum teams alongside developers, QA leads, and product owners
  • Participate in test scenario creation, execution, and defect reporting
  • Use tools like JIRA for test management and reporting

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in test automation
  • Strong programming skills (Java preferred; Python/C# also considered)
  • Solid understanding of API testing and automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Ability to enhance and adapt existing frameworks

Your security clearance

Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
