Job Title: Territory Manager North (x1) & Territory Manager South (x1), Timepiece Division

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (35hrs p/w)

Location: Field based (x4 days travelling in the field, x1 day WFH or Head Office in Wembley Park)

    • North Territory - covering Scotland to North Midlands
    • South Territory - Midlands to South of England

As a Watch Territory Manager for Casio, you'll lead the sales and distribution efforts of our technical timepieces within the United Kingdom. Your responsibilities will span sales, relationship management at retail, competitor intelligence gathering, strategic business planning, executing marketing events, and managing the territory's presentation ensuring optimal brand representation.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWhat you will be expected to do...

  • Managing and achieving sales and store targets for a large portfolio of Independents and multiple high street jewellers' sales.
  • Development of territory, engaging new customers and existing to increase retail presence.
  • Retailer Relationship Management: Forge strong partnerships with authorised retailers, providing sales and business development support, training, and guidance to enhance brand representation and drive sales.
  • Business Planning: Develop territory business plans, setting sales objectives, promotional strategies, and resource allocation to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Educating and selling the Casio brands aligned with the agreed brand philosophy and company strategy.
  • Competitor Information Collection: Monitor competitor activities and market trends, gathering insights to inform strategic decision-making and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Marketing Event Execution: With the support of the marketing team and sales team plan and execute captivating marketing events, product launches, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Generate accurate sales forecasts and performance reports, analysing key metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards across all activities within the territory, upholding the integrity and reputation of G-Shock Premium and Casio brands.
  • This is a hybrid position which incorporates both direct sales into independent retail partners, as well as working with regional national accounts to increase the sell out within stores.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONWhat you'll need...

  • ESSENTIAL: Minimum 2 years of recent experience within luxury goods field sales. Ideally in the Premium Watch Market, demonstrating a deep understanding of high-end timepieces, market trends, and consumer preferences. Previous experience with a Swiss brand is highly advantageous.
  • ESSENTIAL: Full, clean driving licence for the UK with flexibility to travel within the territory as required. We will also require at least once a month visit to our Head Office in Wembley Park (HA9).
  • ESSENTIAL: Demonstrable ability to journey plan and time manage effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Resilient and solution focused, adaptable to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data.
  • DESIRABLE: basic understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies relevant to the luxury watch market.
  • DESIRABLE: Previous experience in conducting training sessions for retail staff and partners focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service excellence. Confident in public speaking in both online and offline situations.
