We are seeking a skilled Tendering professional to join our clients' team in Scotland and manage the bidding process for offshore international projects. This is a full-time contract position for initial 12 month period.
Client office is Glasgow based, applicants are invited for candidates who are open to being office or home based.
Role Overview
- Lead and execute all phases of the tender process for our Water Business Unit, for international offshore projects.
- Ensure all tender requirements are met and accurately reflected in proposals.
- Organize and plan each tender submission to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize technical solutions and offerings.
- Conduct thorough reviews of technical documentation to ensure compliance.
- Perform cost calculations and analysis to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Work closely with project management to assess project costs and profitability.
- Develop and implement best practices for the tendering process.
- Participate in negotiations with clients and maintain strong relationships throughout the tender process.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
- Prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of the business.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable experience in tendering and proposal development within energy / oil & gas sector.
- Strong understanding of contractual, legal, and commercial aspects.
- Good knowledge of cost analysis and technical offerings optimization.
- Experience with offshore projects of $1 million or more is preferred.
