We are looking for a Holistic Account Manager to join our Pensions Account Management Unit at Royal London.
You will help us meet our new business goals for pension and later life planning products. Our financial adviser clients benefit from our consultative sales approach, which helps them save time, increase profit, and achieve better outcomes for their clients. We do this by building relationships and focusing on the medium to long term, aligned with our vision of supporting financial resilience, moving fairly to a sustainable world, and strengthening the mutual choice for customers.
About the role
- You will create, maintain and deliver a strategy plan to develop a panel of financial advisers and will deliver Pensions new business objectives from a broad range of firms on the panel.
- You will deliver sales presentations to Intermediaries, promoting new and existing sales opportunities whilst developing and maintaining strong business relationships with your panel.
- You will be responsible for identifying and promoting new sales opportunities through various channels whilst ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional sales process for the adviser.
- You will always comply with the Royal London sales Process and Compliance reporting requirements, ensuring competent status is maintained and all business risks are managed and mitigated effectively and reported through relevant channels.
About you:
- You will have expereince in intermediary Business to Business sales within financial services, preferably pensions products and propositions.
- You will have attained or can demonstrate working towards Diploma Level 4 qualifications specific to CII or LIBF or equivalent.
- Ideally you will be competent and have an excellent understanding of technology used by advisers including research and analysis systems, platforms, Model portfolio services etc.
- You will have the ability to discuss and debate industry issues, technical and legislative updates in a competent and influential manner to all levels of stakeholders including company directors.
- To demonstrate knowledge of our and competitor propositions would also be advantageous.
- Excellent Communication and influencing skills, and the ability to develop relationships internally and externally.
- Problem solving & decision-making skills.
- Demonstrable continuous improvement skills and experience.
