Technology Project Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of technology projects, from complex software implementations to smaller infrastructure tasks like server installations or office cabling jobs.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders from different departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure clear communication of project goals, requirements, and progress.
• Scope Management: Define the scope for both large and small-scale projects, ensuring that objectives are met within the agreed-upon parameters, while managing scope changes effectively.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess risks across all types of projects, from software development challenges to logistical issues in hardware installations, and develop contingency plans.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams of technical engineers, IT support, and external contractors to deliver both high-impact and ad-hoc projects efficiently.
• Resource Management: Coordinate the allocation of resources to ensure that all projects are completed on time.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for projects ensuring financial discipline at all levels. Perform audits and checks on requirements vs budget. Assist with the procurement and cost analysis processes associated with the projects.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management. Tailor reports to suit the complexity and size of each project.
• Project Methodology: Apply best practice methodologies to the multiple ongoing projects.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and performance of all project deliverables.
• Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project reviews for all types of projects to document lessons learned, identify improvements, and build a repository of best practices for future work.
