About The Role

Morrison's Technology team is an exciting place to be, we're changing and optimising the way we deliver technology. As the Project Manager for Online / Marketing you'll work alongside the business and technology teams to select and deliver technologies that are better for our customers, simpler for our colleagues and improve performance for the business as a whole.

Excited? We think these roles are broader than just technology project management.

Results are important, but we're in this for the long haul and 'how' we get there really matters. We've got some big teams, many working remotely to deliver our changes. We see being able to nurture a happy motivated team where every one feels valued as a core part of this role.

As a Project Manager at Morrisons, you'll be accountable for:

  • Multi million pound projects, from shaping and inception through to delivery.
  • Acting as a bridge between technology and business teams.
  • Ownership and shaping of short and mid term development plans.
  • The delivery approach for the development teams, ensuring we evolve and move with the times on best practice.
  • Budgetary responsibility for project spend and benefits realisation.
  • Accountability for team motivation.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Track record of successfully leading and delivering transformation projects and programmes
  • Experience in managing multiple third party suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience of managing onshore and offshore technical teams.
  • Experience of agile with a little 'a' (we're not purists and pick the parts that work for us).
  • Great influencing and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
