KPMG are continuing to develop and grow their Wealth and Asset Management technology practice and are seeking to appoint a talented Director to support the ambition of quadrupling the size of the practice over the next 3 financial years. The successful candidate will have deep sector knowledge combined with strong technology consulting/transformation experience and commercial/sales orientated outlook.

The Role
KPMG combine industry knowledge and change management skills to deliver successful technology enabled transformation programmes for their clients within the Wealth and Asset Management sector. KPMG work with clients' business and technology stakeholders in a senior and influential capacity to deliver technology enabled change in the market.
You will also be playing a crucial role in helping to drive our growth in the Wealth and Asset Management sector, being part of a dynamic team with an inclusive culture offering strong internal networks and support. You will lead and deliver consulting engagements for our clients, as well as supporting the wider development of the Wealth and Asset Management Consulting team.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing relationships and furthering revenue streams from clients. You will leverage and develop your own network as well as developing relationships with clients to understand their issues and, from that, develop solutions and add value.
Experience/Skills
- Experience of selling and delivering large multi-disciplinary technology enabled programmes within the Wealth and Asset Management Sector, working with platforms such as State Street Alpha, Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, eFront, , ALTO, Finbourne, FNZ, SEI, or Avaloq
- Technology skills across architecture, IT operating model design, cost reduction or experience of major package selection/implementation
- Data transformation skills gained from within the WAM Sector
- An understanding of the key business issues and technology landscapes used in such organisations to enable CIO/COO/Board level engagement
- Extensive experience planning and crafting projects, managing progress, resolving issues and limiting risks in highly complex, diverse and cross-border environments
- Demonstrate a working style that is team focused, open and commercially driven while meeting the highest standards of integrity
- Consistent track record of winning competitive, commercially viable business through new business sales
- Positive relationships and strong market networks within the industry, the capability to generate sales activities and collateral
- Deep technical and business knowledge within the Insurance sector
- Ability to deliver large complex programmes and lead technology transformation programmes in Insurance, with a focus on delivering measurable impacts to the client
- Strong business / relationship development skills
- Excellent communication skills and the expertise to influence at the highest level
- Dedication to progressing within the firm
