Your key responsibilities
You will be working in blended teams, delivering innovative solutions to complex issues, dealing with technology, functional and business stakeholders at both EY and our clients.

You will therefore:

• consistently deliver high-quality work
• be able to lead teams and manage the delivery of artifacts and solutions
• stay abreast of current and developing trends in your area of expertise
• be able to explain technical concepts in simple, plain language
• act as a mentor and help develop more junior colleagues
• support more senior members of the SAP Innovation practice

Skills and attributes for success

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Highly motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude
• Strong technical knowledge of the ABAP programming language and SAP systems
• Leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of ABAP developers
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges

• Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
• Promote an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment
• A forward thinker that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly new situations

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• 7+ years of developing and delivering ABAP-led solutions in complex SAP landscapes
• Led teams on at least 2 deliveries
• Two end to end SAP programs with specific experience of business transformation
• Delivery of SAP Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (WRICEF)
• OOP with ABAP 7.4+
• OData services with SAP Gateway
• Custom application development on ABAP Cloud
• ABAP CDS views and annotations
• Fiori app implementation and activation
• Exposure to multiple SAP modules - e.g., SD, MM, FI, PE etc.
• A demonstrable desire to broaden your technical skillset
• Worked in an agile project delivery environment
• An ability to collaborate with remote, nearshore and offshore colleagues

Ideally, you'll also have

• One or more SAP or other relevant certifications
• ABAP Restful Application Programming (RAP)
• UX and UX design concepts
• HANA database
