Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree in biological discipline
- AHCS registered or eligible for registration
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Extensive knowledge of genomic clinical laboratory
- Sound knowledge of health & safety
- Understanding of the genomic workforce training needs
Training & Experience
Essential criteria
- A broad knowledge of clinical laboratory genomic methods and technologies
- Significant experience of Clinical diagnostic laboratory work
- Experience working under pressure and within timeframes
- Project management experience
- Experience of leading and motivating a team
- Quality management experience
- Experience of training staff
- Experience with recruitment
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Ability to work in a challenging and busy environment whilst meeting deadlines
- Able to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
