Technical Project Manager £80-£95K plus bonus

The successful applicant will have plenty of experience as a technical PM and will be required to:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of Technology projects from initial Inception through Scoping, Business Requirements, Design, Development, QA, Release and Delivery/Warranty phases. Liaising with all relevant stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Development and management of the Technology Project Plan(s) and integration to the wider business project and Technology programme where relevant.
• Manage any changes to the scope, time or quality of the project through the relevant Change Control procedures.
• Progress reporting of the status of the project within the defined governance structure (both Technology and wider business) - both written and in verbal format to internal stakeholders.
• Identification and subsequent management of the project risks and issues to ensure effective mitigations in place, escalating to the Technology Management Team and CTO as/when required.
• Control of the project budget including tracking and reporting of performance and identifying any potential over / underspend and taking remedial action as required.
• Ensure a clear communication plan is in place with internal and external stakeholders as required, and that all People and Customer change implications have been considered and are appropriately addressed through the overall project plan including early communication with relevant departments / functions.

Agile Working
• Ensure all Projects are delivered to the agreed processes and procedures, operating within the Agile development framework for most development projects.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members, and influence them to take proactive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Play an effective role within the Technology Management team, utilising knowledge and experience to support the team's delivery requirements.
• Drive clear and concise communication through all teams.

KNOWLEDGE
• Proven experience of delivering complex software development, platform enhancement and platform and data migration projects.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of the Technology project lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of agile software development projects and delivery methodologies - ideally NEXUS SCRUM Methodology.
• Experience of bringing significant projects to completion through within challenging conditions.
• Experience of working with remote multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience of managing and bringing together diverse cultures.
• A recognised qualification and/or significant experience of project management tools and methodologies.
• Technical skills from previous roles e.g. software development, DBA, etc. is desirable.

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and delivering software projects within a B2B SaaS business.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working directly with Product and Technology teams.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and delivering software projects across a centralised global SaaS platform.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure for management and tracking is desirable.
