As a Technical Project Manager III in our dynamic team, you will innovate and promote technology advancements, contributing to significant business growth and client success. You will act as a servant leader for team(s), facilitating clear communication to management, stakeholders, and to the team(s) so that project and program priorities are set and achieved on time and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. You will take ownership of team's performance by understanding the intricacies of the business and technology. You will act as a catalyst in changing the team and organizational culture towards agile delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Leads technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design, build, test and implementation.
  • Ensures project is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines.
  • Works with the Product owner to align team with the product vision, sprint goals, requirements, priorities, dependencies, and timeline.
  • Creates an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue on task assignments and productive solutions for resolving conflicts
  • Champions continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coaches teams to conduct continuous improvement events
  • Seeks opportunities for improvement to the overall effectiveness of teams and the organization
  • Communicates organizational impediments to leadership; clears impediments for the team
  • Embraces the concept of continuous learning in your own journey and instills the same in the team(s) you coach
  • Assists technology teams in obtaining compliance & risk approval for new development and application enhancements
  • Collaborates with technology teams and information security managers to complete risk assessments and pre-audit reviews

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management experience including driving of large scale or complex projects
  • Current or previous technical development experience including exposure to modern infrastructure services such as cloud, virtualization, big data, etc.
  • Exposure to modern engineering practices like Unit Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration
  • Organized, thorough, & detail orientated with strong impact analysis ability to changes in scope, team structure, and priority
  • A mindset of servant leadership with the ability to coach and mentor
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
  • Strong familiarity and adherence to core Agile values and principles
  • Experience or equivalent expertise as a practicing Agility Lead/Scrum Master on a team
  • Understanding of scaled agile frameworks as well as being an expert with Agile and Scrum framework and its application in Product Development and delivery organization
  • Technology Risk and Controls experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Experience in scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe
  • Leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and more to serve the team(s)
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master, SAFeĀ® Agilist, ICP ATF - Agile Team Facilitation, ICP ACC Certification - Agile Coaching
