Mistral AI are hiring experts in the role of pre-training and fine-tuning large language models.

Role Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Lead to oversee the delivery of HPC projects.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, particularly in high-performance computing (HPC) and related technologies.

• This role involves strategic management of project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project delivery.

• The role can be based in Paris or London. Remote could also work as long as candidates are willing to travel frequently to Paris

Key Responsibilities

Project management

• Responsible for overseeing delivery of Mistral's HPC clusters up to production.

• Strategically manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met.

• Key items of the project include : Deployment of hardware; negotiation with Data Center and infrastructure providers, etc,.

• Oversee critical resource allocation and budget management.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align technical and operational goals.

Stakeholder management

• Communicate project progress and strategic direction to stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Quality assurance

• Ensure adherence to project standards and best practices.

• Implement quality control measures to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications & Profile

• Technical degree : computer science or general engineering

• Proven experience in large infrastructure project management, preferably in HPC or related fields.

• Deep program management experience

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
