Technical Program Manager, Global Marine Operations Business

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security, Privacy, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management.
  • 2 years of experience in a Cyber threat intelligence (CTI) role.
  • Experience with security assessments, data analytics and SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security.
  • 7 years of experience in security management, with 5 years of experience in critical infrastructure protection in semi-permissive or non-permissive environments.
  • Experience working with privacy and crisis or incident management within security.
  • Experience with government intelligence, financial systems, telecommunications networking security operations or security agency, with a focus on intelligence collection and analysis.
  • Knowledge of security regulations and compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and PCI DSS.

About the job

In this role, you will help define, design and deploy resources towards a cohesive and coordinated plan embedded within the Google Global Networking and Infrastructure (GGNI) and wider cloud division. The development will bring significant new resources into Google, stimulate slick, simplistic governance and drive a talent development program to ensure adequate succession planning and career development in this unique and specific part of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Create clear and compelling dashboards and reports. Present data insights to audiences. Develop processes and improvement in operational cadence. Translate business requirements into data analysis projects.
  • Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc). Lead software (Google Sheets, spreadsheet), version control systems (Git). Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract and manipulate data. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Develop and document process flow diagrams and other visual representations. Recommend and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and ensure that solutions meet business requirements. Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and address any issues or concerns.
