Purpose of the Role
Join the Whole Vehicle Engineering team as a Technical Manager where you'll provide technical leadership and in depth technical knowledge on whole vehicle development, to support and ensure achievement of business objectives and technical development, playing a pivotal role in driving our Beyond100+ strategy aim. Reporting into a Head of Department in Whole Vehicle your main responsibilities include;

  • Providing technical leadership on whole vehicle development topics, including product requirements, project maturity, integration and attribute development
  • Responsible for resolving topics that impact the product, facilitating resolutions that are optimised for the product and the business.
  • Able to lead on technical topics working with other departments/engineers
  • Participation and effective representation of function/Company in appropriate technical meetings

About you - Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate experience working in the Automotive Industry or related industries
  • Experience of process from launch to production
  • Strong influencing skills and communication, with a commitment to building positive relationships with other functions, and Group as an outward facing expert
  • Ability to share technical knowledge effectively with others, coach and guide as appropriate
  • Demonstrable experience of process improvement activities within the specific technology
  • An Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
