Technical Manager

The Technical Manager is responsible for the Quality and Food Safety of the Albert Bartlett, and customer branded products (packed and outgrades). This will be achieved through leading, motivating and developing the technical and quality teams.

Based at our Airdrie site, you will be responsible for site-based customer technical management during visits, communications and maintenance of the customer-based supplier systems.

Job Role

  • Appropriately respond to rejections and complaints by liaising with the relevant members of Marketing, Production and Technical teams.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating customer/ brand requirements with all factory staff in an appropriate manner (e.g. via memo, date sheets, verbal daily production meeting etc.).
  • Maintain the highest levels of BRC accreditation with your team and be aware of industry standards to ensure the maintenance of a business strategic advantage.
  • Responsible for managing technically focussed projects which deliver continuous quality and economic improvements for the business.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
