We're hiring a Technical Dynamic Creative Manager as part of our team in Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.

Purpose of the Role

The Technical Dynamic Creative Manager will be responsible for developing and
leading the technical strategy, set-up and optimisation of all personalised advertising
and marketing. The Manager will establish a proven track record of delivering high level
strategic thinking, in-depth campaign analysis of creative performance and
effective, incremental testing for dynamic creative campaigns to ensure year-on-year
client growth. They will lead a team of technical specialists, both in individual
performance development and guidance whilst also managing the production and
delivery of technical outputs across all Dynamic Creative campaigns to a high
standard and with the guidance of seniors and directors. They will report into the
Dynamic Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercises critical thinking and analysis to develop robust strategic planning and processes for all technical-related responsibilities across data-driven dynamic creative campaigns
  • Designs framework and delivers data presentation in a beneficial manner to the client while demonstrating clear ROI
  • Oversees accurate technical set-up, strategy-tailored implementations and successful outputs of campaigns from brief to final reporting phase
  • Is a role model of Quality Assurance
  • Pioneers and effectively tests different techniques and solutions for technical outputs, enabling us to drive sustainable upward growth and benefits for our clients
  • Initiates, manages, and evolves processes and solutions for efficient and effective integration of the dynamic creative product with external technology partners and internal teams
  • Manages the specialist team of developers along with the Dynamic Creative Director to ensure the level of resource is accurate for a consistent stream of successfully completed projects
  • Responsible for line management of team members with professional guidance and clear objectives to enable confidence and success for individuals
  • Support the Dynamic Creative Director with managing the technical development and testing of latest data-driven dynamic creative platform and technology solutions
  • Inputs into new business activities from a technical and strategy perspective and proactively identifies opportunities for growth and improvements by contributing to maturity roadmaps for clients
  • Adding value through process development or knowledge growth of our product offering

Key Skills

  • Previous D.C.O experience is essential, preferably at Manager level.
  • Strong familiarity with logic that can be used in Excel/Google sheets
  • Data storytelling & carpentry (cleaning)
  • Understanding of web development advantageous, particularly and ability to read code
  • Knows basic principles of relational database design, particularly how to design tables with primary and secondary keys
  • Basic scripting
