Technical Customer Service Manager, UK

Job Description

  • Support all processing trials including injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding
  • Support existing customer technical enquiries and issues
  • Ensure all sales and technical projects are in line with company expectations
  • Handle all material complaints using internal process and in line with EMS Quality manual
  • To support Sales team with customer Tech Days, Seminars and Events

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in plastics technology, plastics processing or a comparable relevant technical education
  • Excellent understanding of the injection moulding and extrusion processes
  • Good analytical approach to problem solving
  • Experience in the design of plastic components is an advantage
  • Ability to interpret MoldFlow analysis results is preferred
  • Ability to understand FEA results would be desirable
  • Good understanding of mechanical properties and the relevance these have on product design
  • Good knowledge of English, other languages an advantage
  • Travel activity up to 80%
