About the Role:

KX is currently seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our Global Technical Account Management team. As a Technical Account Manager, you'll spend your time working directly with customers - understanding their environments and use cases, providing support and enablement to help them maximize their ROI in KX software, identifying where KX can expand, assisting with new sales opportunities, and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers, developing strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Perform regular customer health checks to review architecture, address pain points, identify optimizations, and assess expansion opportunities.
  • Provide product training to customers to ensure they have sufficient expertise to utilize our software.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance to customers, covering data ingestion/migration, performance tuning, workflow optimization, architecture review, etc.
  • Capture customer feedback and proof points to share with internal KX teams, acting as a customer advocate.
  • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities and present to other KX teams.
  • Identify churn risk and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate.
  • Work with the Account Director to prepare value propositions for expansion.
  • Define solution architecture for new use cases and expansion opportunities.
  • Provide demos, workshops, and proof of concepts to advance expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, use cases, performance metrics, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' proven experience in a solution architect or technical account manager role.
  • Experience in the data and analytics vendor space.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to describe complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers and deliverables simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry.
  • Previous experience with vector databases, LLMs, and Generative AI workflows
  • Previous experience with kdb+, parquet, Python and other data science/analytics technologies.
  • Previous experience with cloud and on-prem/cloud hybrid architectures.

Location & Workplace Type:

This position takes on a fully remote working model, based in London, Belfast and Newry, United Kingdom or Dublin, Ireland.
