The Role

We're looking for a Talent Technology Consultant who enjoys solving complex technology challenges and delivering impactful talent technology implementations. If you're skilled in project delivery, talent technology consulting, and stakeholder management, and excited to grow in a supportive environment, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

This is a pipelining requisition for a contracting position.

Key Accountabilities

Delivery

  • Lead and deliver talent technology implementation projects by applying your platform expertise and consulting skills.
  • Use your project management capabilities to deliver implementations within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Apply your technical knowledge to support solution design, system configuration, integration planning, data migration, testing, and user training.
  • Collaborate with clients, technology partners, and internal teams to deliver successful technology deployments.
  • Use your analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, escalating where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance on system functionality and integration capabilities to support client objectives.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, and delivery plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to effective resource planning by maintaining project tracking information and reporting progress accurately.
  • Apply continuous learning and platform expertise to maintain certifications and stay current with industry developments.

Team Leadership

  • Use your coaching and mentoring skills to support the development of Analyst-level colleagues.
  • Contribute to team capability building by delivering training, knowledge sharing, and upskilling activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote best practice and continuous improvement across the team.

Relationships

  • Build trusted relationships with clients, technology partners, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Use your influencing and communication skills to guide discussions, secure decisions, and maintain project momentum.
  • Collaborate across teams to share knowledge, solve challenges, and enhance delivery outcomes.

Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to expand services and support client needs beyond existing project scope.
  • Monitor project effort and utilisation, proactively highlighting potential budget or resource impacts.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Current SmartRecruiters Certification with demonstrated ability to configure, implement, and support SmartRecruiters solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability in ATS and/or VMS implementation delivery, including system configuration, testing, deployment, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience leading or supporting talent acquisition technology implementations within client-facing environments.
  • Strength in project management and delivery, with the ability to manage scope, timelines, risks, and competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence decisions across client and internal teams.
  • Experience working with system integrations, data migration, and technology deployment activities.
  • Ability to analyse technical and business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate workshops, deliver training, and provide consulting guidance to clients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, certification maintenance, and professional development.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience implementing talent technology solutions across enterprise or global organisations.
  • Expertise in additional recruitment technology platforms, CRM solutions, onboarding technologies, or HR systems.
  • Familiarity with technology audits, diagnostics, and process optimisation activities.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting the development of colleagues.
  • Knowledge of integration design principles and technical consultancy methodologies.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for service expansion and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of broader talent acquisition processes, recruitment operations, and workforce technology ecosystems.
