North Area Office (BS11 0QE)

  • 1 Full-Time Team Manager Role (Permanent)

South Area Office (BS13 0EE)

  • 1 Full-Time Team Manager Role (Permanent)
  • 1 Part-Time Team Manager Role (2.5 or 3 days per week, Fixed Term until 31.03.25)

About the Role:

Are you a social work manager or an experienced social worker with strong supervisory skills? Are you seeking a management position in a dynamic social work office in Bristol? If you possess excellent management abilities and proven ability in Child Protection and Court Work, we want to hear from you!

Each small team comprises a Team Manager, three full-time Social Workers, a full-time Family Support Worker, and a full-time Administrator. You will manage these five colleagues and lead the practice. Our office-based environment, without hot-desking, offers ample opportunity to build strong relationships with your team and other managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, support, and supervise one of the small teams based at either Ridingleaze House or Symes House in Bristol.
  • Work closely with children in need, children on a child protection plan, and family re-unification, as well as undertake court work.
  • Utilise the Signs of Safety model and collaborate with families and professionals to create positive changes for children.
  • Embed systemic social work principles in practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-located Family in Focus and YOS services.
