Qualification
Essential criteria
- Registered nurse with NMC registration
- Educated to degree level in relevant subject.
- APLS
- Assessor
Desirable criteria
- Working towards Level 7 qualification
- Appropriate teaching qualification (prep for mentorship, 998)
Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant post qualification experience with relevant knowledge and experience
- Extensive Clinical Knowledge in the management and care of the acutely ill child
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Evidence and experience of audit and research
- Reference to appropriate communication and leadership skills
Desirable criteria
- Leadership Qualification
- Qualification in conflict resolution/civility
Skill
Essential criteria
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Participate and promote multi- professional patient care
- Continually update and develop the appropriate skills necessary for the delivery of care
- Evidence of Strong Leadership skills.
- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
