An amazing opportunity is available to become the Team Manager for Neighbourhood and Community Team in West Lancashire. Working for the Children and Family Wellbeing Service, part of Lancashire County Council, Early Help Services, you will lead a team of managers and colleagues in the delivery of the service offer in the district of West Lancashire.
We welcome applications for the role of a Neighbourhood and Community Team Manager-West Lancashire in the Children and Family and Wellbeing Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team to drive forward The Neighbourhood and Community offer which is part of delivery of Lancashire County Councils Early Help offer. The Team Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the Neighbourhood and Community Senior Family Support Workers, as they deliver support and services to the Children, Young People and Families of West Lancashire.
The successful candidate will have responsibility to ensure delivery of the service curriculum offer within our Family Hubs and Family Centre buildings and out in local schools and community settings. Working with the Neighbourhood Senior Family Support Worker and the Neighbourhood Team to deliver high quality evidence-based groups and courses for children aged 0-11, alongside parenting support services. The Neighbourhood Team Manager is responsible for the monitoring of delivery in line with service expectations and targets, managing and developing delivery and evaluating the neighbourhood and community offer.
You will manage and support the delivery of the services Community Offer, working with a team of Community Senior Family Support Workers, who work with schools and settings in West Lancashire. You will have the opportunity to ensure that all schools and service providers who work with children, young people and families are supported to provide and promote Early Help support and services. Working in partnership with schools, services, and settings to promote delivery of target support at Level 2 on the Continuum of Need, you will support a district awareness of "Early Help is everyone's business". The Team Manager also works closely with the Team Manager of Family Intensive Support to ensure services are reaching all corners of the West Lancashire district.
The Neighbourhood and Community Team Manager will take a district service lead on building the Family Hubs Network. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with partners and agencies across a wide range of services. Bringing together Community, Voluntary and Faith Sector services with wider partners to build a network of accessible support and services to families in West Lancashire. Family Hubs provide a fantastic opportunity for partnership working and your role is essential to linking in with services and families to develop a network that's offer is informed by the people of West Lancashire.
As a Team Manager you will also be part of County wide thematic leads for the Children and Family Wellbeing Service. You will contribute to the district leadership team of Chorley and West Lancashire and be part of the wider Central South Area leadership team.
