Delivering Lancashire County Council's early help provision, the service responds as early as possible when a child, young person, or family needs support, enabling them to access services to meet their needs and working with them to ensure the support offered is right for them, is offered in the right place, and at the right time.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply for the role of Team Manager for the Neighbourhood and Community Team strand of CFW service delivery, as part of the Rossendale district management team.

Are you an enthusiastic and motivated manager with experience of successfully managing teams and services delivering support to children, young people and their families? If so, then we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will join a supportive management team and will have the opportunity to drive forward the service's Neighbourhood and Community offer within Rossendale.

The responsibilities of the Neighbour and Community Team Manager are varied:

  • Line Management responsibility for the Neighbourhood and Community Senior Family Support Workers
  • Ensuring high quality service delivery of group-based service delivery from the network of local Family Hubs and Child and Family Centres within the district
  • Oversight of the work undertaken by the Community Senior Family Support Workers with local schools and settings within Rossendale to ensure that all schools and service providers who work with children, young people and families are supported to provide and promote Early Help support and services
  • Collaboration and engagement with local services across all sectors to bring together and continue to grow the network of easily accessible and high-quality support and services to families available through the Family Hubs Network within the district
  • Oversight of the Family Time offer ensuring contact arrangements are safe and positive experiences
  • Work closely with the Team Manager (Family Intensive Support) within Rossendale as part of a supportive and proactive district management team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the district leadership team of Hyndburn, Ribble Valley and Rossendale and be part of the wider East Area leadership team and will also get the opportunity to shape and develop the wider service offer through their involvement in county management thematic lead groups.
