Team Manager - Mental Health

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager to join our Mental Health Social Care Community Teams.
Mental Health Social Care is an exciting and demanding area of work that would suit a committed, flexible and resilient individual with a keen interest in and experience of working in the area of Mental Health.
This post will work across two teams based in the North and the South of the City, alongside two existing postholders. You would form part of a wider Mental Health management team and contribute to the day to day running of the teams and to the development of processes and practice in our small established teams. These are committed and mutually supportive teams of practitioners with a broad range of experience unified by a commitment to the field of mental health. Experience of working with multiple disadvantage and complexity would be advantageous. The ability to understand and apply council systems, policy and process is essential and a commitment to promoting the dvelopment of the teams as well as individuals is also key.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
