Team Manager (Intensive Support)
An amazing opportunity is available to become the Team Manager for Family Intensive Support Team in Fylde and Wyre. Working for the Children and Family Wellbeing Service, part of Lancashire County Council, Early Help Services, you will lead a team of managers and colleagues in the delivery of intensive support to families .
The successful candidate will have responsibility to ensure the delivery of a high-quality intensive support offer to children and families whose needs are identified as Level 3 on the continuum of need. The Team Manager is responsible for the monitoring of delivery in-line with service expectations and targets, managing and developing delivery and evaluating the service provided.
The team covers a wide geographical area so there is an expectation you will be able to move freely around the district to have a regular presence in a number of buildings within the Fylde and Wyre area.
You will have direct line management of the teams Senior Family Support Workers but will also be required to support in the more complex personnel issues of the teams Family Support Workers.
It is expected you will drive performance, ensuring performance indicators are met on a monthly basis.
Working closely with partner agencies will also be a key feature of this role, and the need to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues from Children's Social Care.
As a Team Manager you will also be part of County wide thematic leads for the Children and Family Wellbeing Service. You will contribute to the district leadership team of Fylde and Wyre and be part of the North area leadership team.
