Work Location: Coalville, Hinckley, Loughborough localities

Worker Category: Hybrid Worker

Salary: £46,404- £50,865 per annum (plus market premia of £3,000 ) pro-rata for part time

Working Hours: 37 per week

Contract Type: Fixed term / Secondment for 12 Months

About the Role

We are excited to have a 12 month Fixed -term opportunity as a Team Manager in our Disabled Children's Service.

This is a great opportunity to work in a specialist service area, working with children subject to CIN Plans, CP Plans and CIC.

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.

About You

You will:

  • Be a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker with Senior Practitioner and/or Team Manager experience.
  • Able to Champion improved outcomes for children and young people in Leicestershire
  • Able to ensure that children and families receive high quality, coordinated services which meet their needs and keep children safe.
  • Work with partner agencies in a coordinated and integrated approach wherever possible to achieve good outcomes for children and families
  • Take a lead in embedding the Departmental practice framework underpinned by the Signs of Safety Methodology to support the delivery of high quality social work practice
  • Manage and oversee the Disabled Children's Service and undertake core team manager roles and responsibilities

To apply for this post, you must meet the below criteria

  • Professional Social Work Qualification and Social Work England Registered
  • Have post qualifying experience of working with children and families experience
  • Have excellent safeguarding knowledge and best practice in the delivery of quality services
  • Ability to analyse information to reach sound decisions, often under pressure, and to take responsibility for their outcome and regular reporting to the Service Manager.

You must also have an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion.
