Salary: £49,221 - £53,826 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced social care manager (Provider Services); you will manage a group of CQC Registered Managers and lead the ongoing development and delivery of our countywide in-house adult Short Breaks (respite), Supported Living, and Shared Lives services for people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and/or Autism. As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulated provider, we are committed to delivering safe, high quality and person centred care.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people, and confident in leading and motivating large teams. You will need to be highly motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work proactively using your own initiative.
You will play a key role in ensuring our services consistently deliver high-quality personal care and support, maintain safe environments, and remain fully compliant with regulatory and organisational requirements. You will also participate on the Council's out of hours on-call rota.
An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required for this post.

About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent management experience
- Have substantial experience of managing CQC regulated social care provisions responsible for the delivery of personal care and support, preferably for adults with a learning disability and/or autism
- Have theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge of provider services (social care), the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, and relevant other regulatory requirements applicable to social care providers (Regulated Activities)
- Have significant experience in people and performance management in a regulated care environment; have experience of managing services, motivating and leading staff, setting clear priorities and objectives
- Have the ability to analyse information to reach sound decisions (demonstrating the use of risk management tools in analysis and decision making)
- Have the skill and competencies to contribute to service improvement by both feedback and by strategic plans, provide guidance and constructive challenge to help the team shape ideas into workable solutions, giving time to innovation that supports continuous improvement
- Have experience in budget and resource management and in delivering efficiency savings.
