We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual, with a passion for improving outcomes for disabled children, to establish and lead a new outreach service for children with disabilities in Norfolk.

You will have a Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy qualification, a knowledge of disability issues and experience of working with disabled children and their families.

You will be a positive role model, supporting and leading a small staff team which will include providing professional supervision, performance discussions, and planning and implementing training, including the induction of new staff.

You will have experience and knowledge of safeguarding procedures, will contribute to key planning and decision-making regarding children's care, and will work in partnership with other professionals.

The position will involve being part of an on-call system and may include working evenings, weekends and occasional bank holidays.

As part of your duties, you will ensure that legislation is met in all areas which includes registration with the CQC as the Service Manager.
