Maximising Independence Team
An exciting opportunity is available for an innovative and skilled Team Manager. Would you like to manage a n ew, innovative multi-disciplinary team, all working with people who have mental health problems who are supported by adult social care?
Your team will involve helping people to become more independent by(re)gaining abilities and skills, and helping to r efresh outlook and expectations, enabling people to take advantage of opportunities to grow and develop their lives.
Your team will include experienced social workers, occupational therapist, and support workers as well as dedicated business support.
Your role will be to enable your team to deliver key activities with targeted groups of people including: young people moving form children's services into adulthood, people in residential placements who could take advantage of supported living opportunities, and supporting people in supported living settings to move to private tenancies with the right care and support arrangements.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide pay slip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
