Barnardo's Works East

Employment Training and Skills (ETS) courses provide young people with skills and qualifications they can build on and develop throughout their working life.

In partnership with employers, schools, colleges, and charities, we train and support over 300 young people every year. We provide courses, support, and careers advice, to young people whether they interested in construction qualifications or a hairdressing apprenticeship.

We work with 15-29-year-olds who are looking to enter employment, we work with you them on both an individual and group basis to find the best employment opportunities in their area and to help prepare them for these opportunities.

As part of the service, we also work with the families of young people to provide a holistic, family approach to employability.

Barnardo's Works are looking to recruit a Team Manager to support our work with

young people.

This role will play a key part in supporting the service grow and assist developing our offer for

young people. This will involve managing contract performance of our core

contracts and working closely with key partners.

Barnardo's are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills, employability knowledge with the ability to develop and manage internal and external networks. Knowledge of child and adult safeguarding processes are also a key element of this role.

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band - this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
