  • Suffolk County Council, - Sudbury Health Centre, Sudbury CO10 2DZ - Hybrid
  • £45,380 per annum (pro rata if part time)
  • 37 hours per week - Flexible working options available
  • Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months

An exciting twelve-month secondment opportunity has arisen within the West Suffolk Locality. We are looking for a Team Manager for the Sudbury Adult Social Care Team.

This is a key role within the organisation, the post holder will lead and manage the Adult Social Care practitioners within the Sudbury Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT), this will ensure that the highest standards of health, social care and reablement continues to be delivered within the locality.

As previously indicated, the main purpose of the role is to directly manage the Adult Social Care practitioners within the INT and contribute to the effective leadership of the team. They will also support the Locality Lead in delivering effective integration between health and social care through collaboration with stakeholders and partners across the system to deliver better outcomes for the people of Suffolk. Working alongside all key partners, will be an important part of the role, ensuring the health and social care systems are joined up and accessible.

Your responsibilities

  • On a daily basis oversee the management of highly complex decisions using analytical and interpretation skills to compare a range of options to service delivery and to meet assessed needs.
  • provide leadership in the critical application of professional ethics to strategic decision-making, using a legal and human rights framework
  • promote a culture where individuals and communities can exercise their rights to autonomy and self-determination balancing this effectively with safeguarding responsibilities.

You will need

  • Degree and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • Social Work England registration
