Following a decision to remodel the Business Support and Performance Information teams within Social Services, a Business Support Team Manager post has been created to manage both these teams within the newly created Business Support Service. We are looking to appoint an organised, confident, and self-motivated individual to manage the new service area.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer care skills and have the ability to communicate at all levels, use initiative to meet tight deadlines and be able to motivate and support staff to deliver a high-quality administrative service.

As this is a new post, we require you to be able to successfully build, lead, and develop teams. The ability to successfully introduce service improvements and manage change is essential.

The successful candidate will be confident in safeguarding procedures and protocols and able to interpret legislation as appropriate to the role. You will be capable of organising and prioritising your own work to meet challenging deadlines and you will operate with energy and enthusiasm in both a self-sufficient manner and as part of a high performing team.

The teams work in an agile manner and allows a split between office and home working as the service needs dictate. All other corporate benefits of employment with the Councils policies apply, and we are looking for a manager who can work flexibly to suit the requirements of the business.
