An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a Team Manager in our Children in Our Care Team.

It's All about You;

You're passionate about making a difference to children, young people and families - we're after caring, passionate and dedicated leaders with a great track record that want to make a difference to the families we work with. Our aim is to go from "Good" to "Outstanding" and we need you to help us.

You want flexibility and trust from your organisation - we have high expectations and delivering successful outcomes is more important to us than watching the clock so you can have flexibility around your day to day

You want to challenge and develop your team and yourself - we're looking for someone to drive and deliver the changes that we're making whilst supporting a team of equally dedicated professionals; you'll drive excellence and motivate your team and yourself, even when faced with tough decisions and difficult choices

It's about the Role;

Location: Hyndburn & Ribble Valley, Lancashire

Role: Children in Our Care

Development: succession planning, professional and academic qualifications, supportive reflection, opportunities for personal growth & development, multidisciplinary initiatives, mentoring, the opportunity to make a difference, feel valued and achieve the job satisfaction of which you've always dreamt

Inclusivity: we don't have a "one size fits all" idealism, we embrace diversity and the richness that it brings and that includes around both personal and family requirements; feel supported whenever you need

It's about Us;

Within the Children in Our Care service we care and dare to have big goals, huge ambitions and aspirational dreams for our children and support them to achieve and believe in themselves. Our children are at the very heart of absolutely everything we do, and we include our children in every decision made, from the very small ones to the really big ones! We try not to let the sky limit us to how creative we can work together with our children.

We spend a lot of time listening to our children, and what they tell us is that they want us to organise lots of events & activities and to have fun with us - so this is what we do. We have a strong focus on celebrating our children's achievements and successes, no matter how small or big and we encourage our children to dream big for themselves, so we can dream even bigger for them

As corporate parents, we work closely with our children's schools, health practitioners, foster carers, residential staff, and all the other professionals working with our children so that we can jointly support our children to achieve in every aspect of their childhood, into their adulthood

We offer a comprehensive induction, great succession plans for our team, supportive work-life balance including working from home, flexible working, & tangible wellbeing initiatives plus regular supervision and support available whenever you need it.

Our aim is to go from "Good" to "Outstanding" - the changes we've made both financially & culturally are making a substantial difference to the families we support, the individuals in our teams & how we work together.
