We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Teacher Manager to join our team in London. This role involves managing our dedicated team of teachers, overseeing teacher scheduling, and teaching coding classes two days a week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent organisational skills, and the flexibility to cover teaching sessions when necessary. This position offers a balance between management responsibilities and hands-on teaching experience. Teaching qualification and experience required.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Teacher Management:
• Oversee and support a team of teachers, ensuring high standards of teaching and professionalism.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to teachers.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities and training sessions.
• Scheduling:
• Develop and manage weekly and monthly teacher schedules.
• Coordinate with teachers to ensure adequate coverage for all classes.
• Handle last-minute scheduling changes and arrange for substitute teachers as needed.
• Teaching:
• Teach coding classes for children aged 5-12 two days a week.
• Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that inspire and educate young coders.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Teacher Cover:
• Be prepared to cover for absent teachers on short notice, ensuring continuity of learning for students.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Teaching qualifications are an advantage.
• Experience in teaching or managing educational programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing situations.
• Passion for coding and technology education.
