Launch you career as part the wider Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Corporate Tax department, which is largely based in London. The team comprises a diverse mix of international qualified professionals, and this position seeks to complement the team.

Tax Transformation lead to assess and manage implementation of cross-tax discipline transformation, covering people, process, data and technology. The successful candidate will have a professional tax qualification.

The position is based in London and part of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Corporate Tax team. The team advises on and manages tax risks in the EMEA region.

Job responsibilities:

You will be working on the Tax compliance portfolio (including client and product taxes) and tax accounting processes. The role will also cover Transfer pricing (including data and processes supporting income attributions and expense allocations) & Tax risk and control frameworks.

Other elements of the role include:

  • Transfer pricing (including data and processes supporting income attributions and expense allocations)
  • Tax and finance technology
  • Data sourcing and ingestion technology
  • Data gap analysis and data equivalency testing

Required capabilities and skills:

  • Capability to perform international operating model design and operating effectiveness reviews across tax disciplines.
  • Ability to quickly understand emerging areas in depth, conduct impact and risk assessments and deliver advice ahead of developing and delivering responsive processes, procedures and controls.
  • Very strong project management skills to drive end-to end transformation, including adoption of technology.
  • Highly developed skills for developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Strong track record of working across teams and functions to deliver transformation.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to adapt to different audiences and to effectively articulate complex tax concepts to stakeholders.
  • Passion for people, taking a genuine interest in their personal development and bringing together high-performance teams aligned on shared objectives.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • A qualified professional with a recognized accounting and/or tax qualification.
  • Experience of working in a tax department of a bank an advantage.
