We are looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Senior Developer that can help us design, develop and release innovative tax and finance applications to the market quickly. The Microsoft Power Platform is embedded into our Beehive platform and it is an essential part of our platform vision allowing us to prototype, automate and visualize faster and more effectively.
EY is working closely with Microsoft as a key strategic Alliance partner in this space to ensure that we stay ahead of the latest Power Platform functionality and features so we can bring the best of available technology to our clients.
What you will do:
- Work with EY Clients and colleagues to develop technical solutions that are resilient, scalable and manageable
- Use Microsoft Power Platform technologies to innovate and offer solutions to the challenges EY clients face from new and existing regulatory requirements
- Own the roadmap and development of Power Apps, Power Automate workflows and Power BI dashboards which meet the needs of tax and finance departments
- Administer and govern Power-BI (embedded) reports and workspaces
- Gather use cases managing a pipeline and prioritise the development and implementation both through hands on development and delegation to offshore teams.
- Work alongside the developers of other EY technology to ensure the applications are complimentary and interact appropriately

What you definitely need:
As the senior Power Platform developer, you should have relevant experience in technology consulting and collaboration working with a variety of types of clients. We are not prescriptive about the sectors you have experience working with, as long as you are eager to learn and use the best approach for solving the problems faced by tax and finance teams.
Education and Training:
- Minimum of Microsoft Power Apps Maker (PL-100) and Microsoft Data Analyst Associate PL-300 (ex DA-100)
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) and Dynamics 365 (MB-901) certifications are highly desirable
Skills and Experience:
- A work attitude that is empathetic, humble, motivated, and adaptable (see above)
- An excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies and how clients can derive value from those technologies
- 5+ years of technology consulting / development experience
- Experience of implementing Microsoft Power Platform solution for clients including the creation and administration of Power Platform environments and Power BI workspaces
- Experience of working with clients on a range of activities: requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, prototyping, testing, integration, data migration, training, demonstrations, and post 'go live' support
- Ability to design and develop impactful visual reports and dashboards
- Experience working with Rest APIs in the context of Power Platform
What you might also have:
- Experience working with databases.
- Experience with web development
- Experience deploying web applications on large cloud-based services provider (e.g. AWS / Azure) and familiar with the underlying architecture
