Kennedys is looking for a Tax Senior to join our in house Tax team based in London, Manchester or Birmingham. The Tax Senior will work as part of the Tax team to provide a proactive reporting and support service to the Firm.
Team
Kennedys in house Tax team support the Firm globally with regards to all tax statutory filing requirements. Working closely with our external advisors, tax authorities and members to maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of all tax compliance obligations in the UK and internationally including income and corporation tax computations and returns, tax provisioning, VAT, tax relief claims and tax payments
- Liaise with relevant tax authorities in relation to partner and entity taxes
- Liaise with our offshore in house finance teams and external accountants when assisting with the preparation of UK and international Tax compliance
- Review annual tax and statutory compliance deadlines with other tax advisors/accountants to maintain an accurate compliance calendar
- Assist with the preparation and calculations of tax payments
- Request certificates of tax residence for WHT compliance
Required Experience
Including but not limited to
- Preparation of Personal tax returns
- Preparation of Corporate tax returns
- Preparation of Partnership tax returns
- CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA, qualified by experience or studying towards
- Strong attention to detail and discipline in managing your own workload
- Strong understanding and practical use of Excel
