Description

Are you an ATT/ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified professional (or QBE) with strong personal tax experience within practice? If so, Jerroms is looking to recruit a Tax Manager to join Jerroms' Leigh Christou office in Coventry.

As part of a well-established and growing independent accountancy group, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio, deliver high-quality advisory services, and play a key role in supporting the continued expansion of the Coventry office.

Key Responsibilities

The Tax Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met
• Reviewing and overseeing the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns

Providing technical advice on:

• Capital Gains Tax
• Inheritance Tax and succession planning
• Trust taxation
• Overseeing P11Ds and advising on benefits in kind
• Leading ad hoc tax assignments and advisory projects
  Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
• Managing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
  Supporting senior leadership with strategic tax planning and business development initiative

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• ACCA / ACA / CTA or ATT qualified (QBE candidates will also be considered)
• Strong experience within a professional services/practice environment
• Proven expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing work
• Knowledge of IRIS (preferred but not essential)
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
