Tax Manager

We are looking for an experienced tax professional to join us as our Tax Manager, responsible for the management of direct taxes for the University and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will provide expert advice and guidance to devise and propose University policies for dealing with direct tax requirements and minimising any risk exposure in the UK and overseas. You will ensure all UK Corporation and International tax filings and returns are completed accurately and on time .

About you

You will be professionally qualified as a member of CCAB institute or have a tax qualification or equivalent, with extensive knowledge in direct tax gained in either practice or an in-house role, along with substantial tax and accounting experience.

You will have a proven ability to consider and advice on policy and complex tax issues and model various tax options.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to disseminate complex tax information and guidance to non-tax specialists.
