Description

Based within the growing and forward-thinking tax team, the successful candidate will assist in managing a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, acting as a key point of contact while overseeing high-quality compliance work, and gaining an introduction to advisory assignments.

You will prepare and review a range of tax returns, maintain strong client relationships, supervise junior staff, and ensure all work meets internal quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review personal tax returns, including self-assessment, partnership, residency, and high-net-worth cases
  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, computations, and support schedules for a range of clients
  • Gain an introduction to tax advisory projects
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring queries are addressed promptly
  • Maintain strong relationships and manage expectations around deadlines
  • Supervise and review work prepared by junior staff, providing coaching and on the job support
  • Ensure all work adheres to internal quality standards and compliance requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • ACA, ATT or CIOT (or equivalent) qualified
  • Demonstrable corporate/personal tax experience within a practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax legislations
  • Accurate work, displaying initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
