As a Talent, Skills & Performance Manager, you will be at the heart of shaping how Deloitte nurtures and develops its people. This isn't just about managing processes; it's about driving strategic initiatives that enhance our firm's performance experience and align with our overarching goals. Your role will include:

  • Contributing to the design and leading the implementation of key talent, skills, and performance processes, including succession planning, senior promotions, 360-degree feedback, and performance management, ensuring they align with our firm-wide strategy.
  • Managing and delivering specific projects or workstreams within large-scale talent initiatives, overseeing planning, execution, and evaluation to achieve defined objectives and delivering tangible results. Specifically, this is likely to include embedding a new performance and talent management approach in SAP Success Factors.
  • Coordinating and ensuring the effective operational delivery of integrated talent cycle components, including collaborating closely with our offshore Talent Support Services team to ensure seamless execution.
  • Cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with HR, People & Purpose, and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact and facilitating alignment on critical talent initiatives.
  • Supporting the continuous enhancement of the firm's performance experience by implementing and refining processes, policies, and activities that foster high performance and positive colleague outcomes. This will include preparing the firm for implementation of SAP Success Factors and a new approach to talent and performance management.
  • Analysing and utilising talent, skills, and performance data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of projects and cyclical processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and strategic adjustments.
  • Researching and assessing emerging trends and best practices in talent, skills, and performance management, proposing practical, innovative solutions for consideration and integration.
  • Overseeing the effective utilisation and continuous improvement of performance and feedback technology, working with vendors to ensure value for money and a clear product roadmap.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Extensive experience in the end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of talent, skills, and performance processes and activities.
  • Demonstrable experience with HCM technologies (e.g. Success Factors, Workday) - including contributing to design and implementation of talent and performance modules and reporting and working with stakeholders to drive impactful adoption.
  • Proven project and programme management experience within a large and complex organisational environment - ideally professional services or in a partnership structure.
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders, demonstrates excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in leveraging talent and performance data and analytics to identify trends, evaluate effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated capability to rationally drive high-quality problem-solving and decision-making, structuring complex information for diverse audiences.

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Track record in HR/human capital consulting or client-facing projects.
  • Experience in agile project management or product management methodologies.
  • A proven ability to research, evaluate, and propose innovative solutions and emerging best practices in talent management.
  • Commercial or financial acumen, enabling a broader understanding of business impact.
