The Role

We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Lead to join our team supporting PwC. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition experts, ensuring they meet targets and deliver exceptional recruitment services.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with senior hiring managers and internal stakeholders, offering expert advice and market insights. You'll also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement within the recruitment process and ensuring compliance with service level agreements. Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and mentora team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and acting as an escalation point to ensure targets are met.
  • Oversee requisition quality and candidate experience, ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide pastoral care and career development supportfor recruiters, including regular 1:1s and team collaboration sessions.
  • Ensure recruitment services align with contractual obligations and SLAs, delivering consistent, high-quality results.
  • Partner with Sourcers and hiring managersto lead vacancy consultation discussions, define recruitment plans, and jointly review candidate shortlists.
  • Guide hiring managersthrough hiring decisions and offer determinations, and manage the full offer process with selected candidates, including negotiation and post-acceptance support.
  • Cultivate trusted partner relationshipswith senior hiring managers and stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor on recruitment processes, timelines, and market insights.
  • Develop and implement effective attraction strategiesbased on market dynamics and hiring demands.
  • Champion an excellent candidate experienceacross the team's delivery.
  • Identify and flag continuous improvement and upselling opportunitiesto the Client Services Manager.
  • Coach and mentor team memberson best practice approaches and client culture.
  • Review quarterly and fortnightly demand forecasts, ensuring the team remains on target.
  • Develop talent pooling plans and regularly review team progress reports.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in managing teams
  • Experience of end-to-end recruitment delivery with expertise in at least one market sector
  • Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching)
  • Experience of using recruitment technology and databases
  • Understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors, OFCCP, data management techniques or similar local legislative requirements)
  • Should be willing to travel to client locations for meetings, hiring events and training,
  • Demonstrable ability to lead a small team to deliver operational excellence
  • Experience of understanding and utilising data to optimise outputs and performance of team
  • Proven ability to work in a highly complex matrix organisation
  • Experience of mentoring or coaching
  • Sector experience in Professional Services/Consulting & Technology
