Hi there We're Stotles.

Our mission is to unlock the potential of business and government working better, together. We'd love for you to join us on our journey.
About this Role and Why We're Hiring

You will be reporting to the COO (cofounder)

It's never been a more exciting time at Stotles. Here's why we're looking for you.

We're anticipating some significant team growth at Stotles, and are looking for a Talent Partner to supercharge this growth while maintaining and championing the culture we're building.

Comp Range: £50,000-£65,000 salary depending on experience, on an 18 month fixed term contract (with potential to extend)

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Create the bottom up strategy to promote Stotles and our employee value proposition in the talent market
    • Work with leadership to understand the medium and long term hiring needs of the business
    • Understand what matters to candidates in different roles and at different levels, and implement the strategy to generate a strong and diverse candidate pipeline.
    • Create and use metrics and quantitative data to inform the strategy and iterate on it
  • Develop tailored strategies for hiring across different roles and levels.
  • Hire several non-technical and technical roles across the Commercial (Sales, Customer Success, Growth), Product (Engineering, Design), and Operations teams
  • Work with Leadership at Stotles to understand their future recruitment needs
  • Develop clear role profiles, and use traditional and alternative channels to source great candidates and develop strong pipelines for our roles
  • Rigorously liaise with our external agencies and other paid-for searches to make sure they deliver "bang for buck"
  • Manage every step of the recruitment process to ensure that all candidates have a great experience when they interview with Stotles - conduct interviews, coach the hiring team on how to interview candidates, implementing SLAs (e.g. around time taken to provide feedback to candidates, time taken from application to offer, etc.)
  • Continuously look for ways to enhance the recruitment process, e.g. by gathering feedback from all candidates and researching techniques used by other firms to attract talent

⌨ Who We're Looking For

  • Experience
    • Experience in an in-house talent role is an absolute must (only agency experience is not enough). You'll generally be handling between 5-10 open roles at any one time

    • Experience setting up recruitment operational procedures and improvements in a growing company

    • Able to listen, think logically and strategically to solve complex problems and juggle multiple priorities at once
    • Open to feedback and happy to collaborate. Aristotle said 'the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts' and that's how we work at Stotles
    • Dependable & detail-orientated. You deliver on the commitments you make to the team, from the big picture results to the nuanced details
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in ATS software (preferably Ashby) and Google Suite
    • Fluency in Boolean searching techniques and able to demonstrate innovative ways of unearthing great talent
    • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, with the ability strong and trusted relationships with internal hiring managers and candidates in the pipeline

This will be an interview with our COO to walk through your motivations and past experience. Please be prepared to speak on relevant experiences and offer examples of problem-solving, project management, and strategic planning and execution
