Job Title: T-Level Industrial Placement – Engineering and Manufacturing
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base
Salary: Please note, this placement is a learning opportunity and is unpaid.
What you’ll be doing:
During your Industry Placement you will have the opportunity to learn more about BAE Systems, and the engineering and manufacturing work we do. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your learning from the classroom, and develop technical skills in the work place.
This 30 – 45 day placement will include time at our training facilities and our on-site engineering environments, gaining experience by contributing to real projects. You’ll have an opportunity to work with our apprentices and employees, who will provide valuable insights into their roles and career journey.
The placement will run between October 2025 and February 2026 and specific dates and times will be communicated if your application is successful.
Your skills and experience:
To apply, you must have or be on track to achieve 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English, and Science/Technical Subject by August 2026.
You must also be completing a T-Level in Engineering and Manufacturing, and in your second year of study by the time the placements start from October 2025. Please note we will accept all Engineering and Manufacturing pathways for this opportunity.
