Systems Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Systems Manager to join the team at Galliford Try.

Ideally, you will be based in or around the North West and will have opportunity to travel to Sites in and around the North West Region, our office base is beside Manchester Airport.

What you will be doing:

The Systems Manager will provide quality assurance to project teams and maintain an audit program for the region to improve the quality of our project delivery.

You Will:

  • Build and configure projects from the master template collaboratively with the project team to suit the client/ contract requirements.
  • Configure the project workflows, permissions and containers.
  • Fault find issues with Viewpoint CDE.
  • Work with the design team to establish BIM requirements.
  • Develop and manage sets of project information requirements.
  • Work with project teams to establish best use operationally and commercially.
  • Work with preconstruction and aftercare teams in maintaining the use project structures using Viewpoint for Projects in the bid and post construction phases.
  • Recruit and manage information management team.
  • Provide systems training and support to information management team.
  • Provide project tailored training to client, design and site teams.
  • Provide user helpdesk style support for FV and VfP.
  • Ensure all BMS / IM Procedures are adhered to.

About You:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint for Projects at operational level is essential.
  • Experience in other Cloud based collaboration systems including Field View, Dalux.
  • Must have advanced IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge and understanding of the document control process.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, client, subcontractor consultant facing role.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and manage a team.
