Job Title: Systems Integration Engineer

Salary: £ 47,683 + Dependent upon skills and experience

Use engineering knowledge and experience to propose and develop solutions throughout the product development cycle

Integrate components and systems into a cohesive “System of Systems”

Manage engineering aspects, ensuring high standards and good engineering governance
-
Monitor and manage the maturity of engineering solutions, taking corrective actions when necessary
-
Specialise in areas such as System Architecting, System Design, Configuration Control, Requirements Management, or Qualification

Lead integration across all aspects of Air platforms & products, from concept to delivery

Create technical documentation in accordance with Departmental Quality Management Procedures

Provide technical support during development, ensuring a clear understanding of risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
-
Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle.

5+ years experience in an engineering integration environment
Desirable:
-
Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets
-
The ideal candidate will have experience of fulfilling stretching customer requirements to tight timescales and budgets.

Good knowledge and experience using a wide range of engineering toolsets.

A role in Engineering Integration will provide a broad understanding of our Engineering activities and offer the opportunity to work across many of the business functions and engineering disciplines that are necessary to design and develop our Systems of System platforms.
