Job Description:

The Role:

A fantastic opportunity for an established major events, hospitality and guest experiences expert to help develop and grow our Hospitality & Events offering for clients across the region.

This role will be responsible for running a growing division within MKTG Sports + Entertainment, with a focus on offering industry-leading event, hospitality and experience services to clients. Supported by an excellent team the guest experiences division take on anything from major event delivery, Guest Management Services, Guest comms, in ground implementation and activation, multi stakeholder hospitality programmes to bespoke smaller hosting events, so the right person has well rounded experience in all areas of guest experience

This will suit someone with significant experience in event delivery, management and planning, who can come in and enhance existing relationships with strategic counsel and client servicing excellence, but also attract new brands and clients to the division.

As SVP, Hospitality & Events, you'll be joining the senior leadership team of MKTG EMEA. You will be expected to build and grow our offering in guest experiences, as well as working closely with the Managing Director and the other senior leads to build and grow the MKTG EMEA business as a full service sport and entertainment agency. You will also be part of a global community of experts in our core regions and be expected to input into this team to ensure best practice across all markets.

This role will report into the Managing Director.

About You:

You are excited by the prospect of working at an award-winning Sports + Entertainment consultancy and are passionate about delivering brilliant solutions for clients.

You have deep experience of working in the events and experiences industry but are as comfortable delivering brand activations and programmes at major events as you are advising clients on how to engage with their desired target audience.

You will have a flair for building business and servicing clients. This role will require someone who can capitalise on our existing client base by offering new services, but also be able to drive new logo growth in the guest experiences sector

You will also have a reputation and contact base in the industry that will help drive MKTG Sport + Entertainment's reputation and fame in the industry across the UK and EMEA.

You will be flexible and knowledgeable across the sport and entertainment industry to enable you to act as a senior advisor and consultant to clients and sell all of our services

To be able to deliver this we need you to have:

• Minimum of 15 years' experience with a proven track record of excellence in guest experiences
• Experience working on major sports events on behalf of sponsors or rights holders
• Demonstrable experience in developing new business as well as growing existing clients
• International experience of working across markets and regions
• Gravitas and professionalism to engage at a senior level across clients and prospects
• Strategic rigour: A strategic thinker who can provide counsel to our clients and deliver best in class solutions
• An excellent understanding of the sport & entertainment and commercial landscape
• Creatively curious with an ability to develop new and exciting ideas
• Prior agency or rights holder experience is essential
• A team mentality, building high performing teams both through line management, influencing and brilliant direction.
• Experience in managing and delivering against financial and performance targets
