CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Sustainability Director to manage and support the implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives and strategies within one of our accounts based within Europe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure the effective management of energy and sustainability resources to meet client's objectives and targets.
• To identify, develop and implement new energy related opportunities.
• Carry out all energy related tasks to ensure service provision and compliance.
• Motivate and train people in energy and sustainability across the account.
• Support client' wider sustainability and corporate social responsibilities objectives.
• Support projects feasibility studies and business cases and return on invest.
• Provide SME confidence to the customer.

More Specific

Lead for setting wider ESG, environmental and circular economy strategy for account operations worldwide, including decarbonization, energy, waste, water and food waste.

Ensures that global energy and sustainability standards are applied throughout the entire account.

Responsible for identifying and implementing cost saving strategies and budgeting for utilities within the account.

Coordinates energy procurement and implementation of new technologies with the global energy and sustainability platform.

Develops, updates, communicates and implements energy efficiency standards, water efficiency standards and best in class waste and recycling processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university. Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training. Minimum of four years of managerial experience preferred.
