We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead partnership projects within the Sussex Learning Network (SLN), supporting learners, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, to progress through education and into higher education.

This role will work closely with schools, further education colleges, universities, local authorities and regional partners to deliver both strategic and targeted outreach, including careers education (CEIAG) related activity. This role will manage cross-sector programmes, coordinate delivery partners, oversee budgets and reporting, represent SLN at regional groups, and help develop new collaborative initiatives aligned with widening participation and progression priorities.

To be effective in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience managing multi-partner projects
  • Strong knowledge of schools (FE and HE)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A degree or equivalent experience is required.

This is a full time (37.0 hours per week) fixed term contract with an initial end date of 31/07/26. If further funding does get confirmed then there is a chance this role can be made permanent.
