The role
We are seeking a Surrey Leaders Programme Manager to join our Advancement team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the University's alumni community. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of our flagship Surrey Leaders Alumni Programme, which connects, empowers and celebrates leaders among our 153,000+ graduates worldwide.
You will:
- Lead the design, delivery, and growth of the Surrey Leaders programme, working closely with senior University leaders and external partners.
- Manage programme plans, budgets, communications, and logistics to ensure outstanding engagement and impact.
- Build strong relationships with alumni participants, speakers and supporters, fostering a vibrant, inclusive leadership community.
- Create high-quality events, communications and activities that inspire, connect, and showcase alumni achievements.
- Track programme outcomes and continuously innovate to ensure lasting value for alumni and the University.
This is a dynamic role where you will combine project management, relationship building and creative engagement to strengthen the University's alumni network and its contribution to society.
About you
You will bring:
- Proven experience in project management, event planning or alumni/community engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
- Flexibility to support evening or weekend events when required.
